I took a walk around an area that defines Kaka’ako. Ward Village. Ward Village is a huge plot of land that houses a few high-rise condos, shops, markets, restaurants, and entertainment. Basically everything you need to live. I’m always very interested in an area like this because I am someone who loves anything modern, anything that involves glass, and anything in a city. Ward Village is such a lively and beautiful spot and I would love to live there someday.

A few things caught my eye while walking around. Glass facades tower over the streets resembles waves and wings. It is located in such a perfect spot. Ala Moana Shopping Center is a 10 minute walk, and Ala Moana Beach Park is a 3 minute walk. Ward Village is a spot that is constantly evolving.

Anaha is a condo and one of the towers that make up Ward Village. It resembles the currents of Hawaii's beaches.

Waiea tower is a condo that is a crosswalk-away from Ala Moana Beach Park. It also has the most expensive penthouse in all of Hawaii, priced at over $35,000,000.

At the Anaha tower, there is a pool about a few floors up that cantilevered over the edge and had a clear acrylic bottom. It looked quite scary especially when looking up at it. I did ask if I could go in it, but it is only open to people who live in the building.

Another thing I saw in the Anaha tower was this wall full of plants. It was behind this pool of water, so no one could really touch it. I have never seen something like it before, so it was nice to see a bit of greenery in a sea of glass.

I saw this really cool chrome statue that sat on this river in front of Anaha tower. According WardVillage.com, it is a stainless steel rock formation designed by Zhan Wang.
