People's Stories

Doing this project was pretty challenging for me. It was hard to go up to strangers, I feel like I haven’t really gotten the hang of asking people things that could be very private. I still was more comfortable asking people that were in my age range. So when I looked for people, I had to really look closely and really figure out if I wanted to talk to them or not. At first when I did ask these people if they had a story to tell, they declined and said their lives were pretty boring. But then I asked them if they had anything happening in their lives recently. They said one thing and I went with that and interviewed them further. That was pretty much it, I do think that I still need to challenge myself in interviewing different kinds of people. In the end, I am happy I got to share people’s stories and I hope they are inspiring to others.
