Reflection

Reflecting on my first graphic design project in this class, I'd say I am proud of how my magazine layout came out. When I imagined this, I imagined it to match my Hyperlapse Wix Site. I went for an all-black and white aesthetic with simple fonts. I did have an issue resizing images but I figured it out and found out I was using the wrong tool to resize. Also, in the directions, it said to choose 2 different fonts for the headlines. I looked through all the fonts and I only liked Helvetica Neue. So in the end, I chose to have the headlines all in the same font. I had balance with the fonts being the same size and the images on the second page morphing into the text which balances out the larger image on the first page. I had contrast with the black background and white text. I guess I could say that my layout lacked rhythm, it had a super simple design. My layout had all the same fonts and colors which unified it all together. In the end, I am happy with what I came up with, especially for my first magazine layout using InDesign.
